The day began at 4:30 AM with me boarding the airport bus, and heading to NITK Surathkal. As I set out on this journey, I could feel the excitement building up. By 8:00 AM, I landed at Mangalore Airport, where my trusty cab driver was waiting to take me to NITK. The campus was alive with energy as students from all over India gathered for the workshop. Despite being strangers initially, I encouraged introductions, and soon we formed a close-knit group, eager to explore the world of aeromodelling together.
A Guide to RC Aircraft Fundamentals:
Our workshop began with thirty bright-eyed students, all keen to learn about RC aircraft. We kicked off with an immersive session, diving into the world of RC aircraft, electronics, and the intricate components that make up a plane. The students' enthusiasm was infectious, creating a lively atmosphere. The more they learned, the more questions they asked, fueling a sense of curiosity and excitement throughout the room.
After the theory, it was time for some hands-on practice. Armed with tools, the students began shaping wings, tails, and fuselages. The workshop space was filled with the scent of glue, and the gentle hum of motors added to the ambiance. Each student was deeply immersed in the process, building their models with precision and dedication.

Exploring NITK's Facilities and Sunset Reflections:
After the workshop, I took some time to explore NITK's impressive lab facilities, a paradise for budding engineers. A slight delay with my cab allowed me to take a stroll along the nearby beach. The sea whispered secrets, and I soaked in the serenity of the moment, reflecting on the day's experiences.
