Semiconductor Foundry Market Trends, Revenue and In-Depth Analysis with Specifications

Comments · 23 Views

The semiconductor foundry market is garnering substantial traction across the globe. Semiconductor foundries play a causal role in the global economy. Rapid industrialization and economic growth worldwide are major driving forces. Besides, enormous advances in semiconductor production technologies push the market's growth. Information and communication industries worldwide are creating significant market demand.

Moreover, growing application areas of semiconductors accelerate the market demand. In its recent analysis, Market Research Future (MRFR) asserts that the global semiconductor foundry market value is poised to escalate from USD 56.28 BN in 2022 to USD 91.56 BN by 2030, growing approximately at a 7.20% CAGR during the assessment period (2022-2030). The penetration of additive manufacturing (AM) and computer-controlled processes boosts the market size.

On the other hand, market demand continues to outstrip supply, which hampers the production of cars, consumer appliances, computers, and smartphones. This presages that the semiconductor industry would require significant investments to keep up with demand. Industry players are striving to manage the supply-demand imbalance that could continue to improve over the next couple of years.

Conversely, the high investment required to set up a semiconductor foundry is a significant factor that impedes market growth. Nevertheless, the growing application areas of semiconductors in contactless payments, battery power management systems, and touch display drivers would support the market growth throughout the forecast period.
